Eating smaller portions throughout the day instead of one big meal will help immensely. Make sure you drink plenty of water, as this will aid in keeping your system clean. Cut down on coffee and try to use sweeteners instead of real sugar. There are many different kinds, so try them all to find your favorite. If sodas are a must for you, then try switching to diet sodas. There a plethora of diet sodas to choose from, so try different ones.
Get out and walk, as well. If you don’t feel safe walking in the truck stop parking lots, you can walk when you get to your loading or unloading point. Keep weights in your truck and work on your arms when you stop.
Check out Wal-Mart or your favorite pharmacy and browse the vitamin shelves. There are many different brands and types of vitamins, so make sure to read the information labels to find out which one is right for you. If your unsure, talk to your doctor and he or she will make recommendations. Your doctor may be able to give you guidelines on "do’s and don’ts" including calorie, fat, and carbohydrate information.
